VIDEO: How Does He Do That: The Torque Roll

I thought it might be fun for fans to take an “insiders look” at some of the different maneuvers that I fly during my air show sequence. To do that, our team is creating a series of short “How Does He Do That” videos. In this series, we’ll let you in on some of the “tricks” to performing some of our favorite maneuvers.

For the first installment in the series, we take you inside the “Torque Roll” to see how it’s choreographed and positioned in our performance. Hang on to your seats as I go vertical into the sky before sliding backwards at almost 100mph!

For the entire Goulian Aerosports Team, the 2011 ICAS Convention was a great success. For 2012, we will fly at twenty air shows around the USA. Even more exciting is the fact that we will visit some venues that we have not been to in quite some time and some events where we have never flown.

We were also awarded the ICAS Sword of Excellence which is a huge honor for me but it’s my team that deserves this prestigious award. The hard work and dedication by our team is what sets us apart.

Stay tuned for some really cool videos and photos as well as some exciting sponsor announcements for 2012. We can’t wait to get started!!

I hope to see you at the AOPA Summit in Hartford, CT from Sept 22 – 24, please stop by to say hello to my team and tour our exhibit at Airportfest (at the Hartford/Brainard airport). I’ll have my air show plane (Whelen Extra 330) and my A36 Bonanza on display. Whelen will be showcasing their latest LED aviation lights.

Hey all you New England air show fans. We’re getting ready for an amazing show this weekend in Brunswick, ME – so make sure you come and support this great event. Saturday should be beautiful. I will be at the Wells Fargo Stagecoach on the ramp meeting friends and fans immediately after the air show ends. So come by and say hi. It will be great to meet everyone.
