Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) and Mike Goulian Air Shows (MGAS) recently extended their sponsorship agreement to continue their successful partnership into 2021 & 2022. The 2021 air show season will mark ten years of WAT and MGAS as marketing partners.
“The relationship between WAT and MGAS is a natural fit because both companies share a common passion for innovation, dedication, and excellence” said Mike Goulian Airshows President (and pilot), Mike Goulian.
“Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) has been a trusted partner of ours for a decade. We’re honored to be a WAT partner because they’re an integral part of the fabric of general aviation. WAT is selfless in their support of general aviation and specifically the air show performers”, Goulian continued.
You can find WAT’s lighting products on aircraft ranging from experimental and light sport up to large cabin bizjets. The WAT Team is dedicated to continuing to innovate their product line to continue to offer upgrade options for their clients.
In 2018, Whelen completed the purchase of LoPresti Aviation to create the new brand of Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT). In early 2020, Goulian Aerosports redesigned their aircraft and uniform branding to match the new WAT branding. The WAT Extra 330SC now adorns the yellow and black branding that has become synonymous with the distinctive WAT brand.
CEO of WAT, Tyler Wheeler is right in saying that “we are looking forward to showing off the WAT colors at airshows across the USA!”. The airplane spent about a month in California in Jan 2020 and the paint is beautiful. Thanks to the team at Art Craft Paint Inc. You can read more about the aircraft’s redesign here.
