The air show in Salinas, CA gave Michael the perfect opportunity to give a few aerobatic rides to the Blue Angel crew – since he had the chance to ride with them in March! Wayne Handley was kind enough to rent us his Extra 300L and Michael gave rides to Drew Hess, Blue Angel C-130 “Fat Albert” pilot and Manny Sanchez, Blue Angel maintenance officer. They had what they called a ‘phenomenal’ ride – landing with huge smiles!
