Sunday in Perth, Australia was a spectacular finish for team Goulian in the Red Bull Air Race. For the first time in 2007, Michael was able to edge out the competition and place 2nd. He was beaten by Frenchman Nicholas Ivanoff in his new Extra racing aircraft. Also on the podium was American, Mike Mangold, who came in 3rd in Perth, but won the RBAR Championship overall for 2007.
