Our exhibit and air show aircraft all have a new look – stop by to see what’s new at the display on Sun ‘n Fun’s warbird ramp!
Sun ‘n Fun kicks off Team Goulian’s 2019 air show season and you’ll notice that we’ve been busy this winter. Michael is coming off the high of placing 3rd overall in 2018’s Red Bull Air Race World Championship and clinching a 3rd place podium finish in the air race season opener in Abu Dhabi just last month. At Sun ‘n Fun you’ll see a brand new look for Team Goulian’s aircraft, exhibit trailer, and all of our other gear. We hope you love the new design!
Sun ‘n Fun grows every year and this year is no exception – there are loads of exhibitors, educational forums, a daily air show, two night air shows, and the US Navy Blue Angels will be performing on the weekend – all to benefit the Aerospace Center for Excellence. Michael will be performing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Be sure to watch out for Michael’s newly designed performance plane in the sky and at our display.
If you’ve been to our Whelen exhibit on the warbird ramp in past years, this year you will notice our brand new look. Whelen’s Aviation division merged with LoPresti Aviation to create a new company called Whelen Aerospace Technologies, or WAT. The new company is a global leader in high-end lighting products for the aviation industry. The new merger will build upon their combined engineering and design expertise to manufacture the most innovative lighting products possible for a wide range of aircraft, from piston powered up to jet aircraft.
Be sure to stop by to see us on the warbird ramp and enter WAT’s raffle to win some WAT and Goulian swag! Come say hello to Michael at the display; he will be there Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM. WAT will also have an indoor exhibit in Hangar A, where the team can answer any of your technical lighting questions. You can also catch Michael during the week at our other partners’ displays: BOSE, Champion, CJ Aviation, Hartzell, Lycoming, Banyan Pilot Shop (showcasing Alpina watches) and WAT’s own hangar booth.
The Team Goulian Hauler / WAT Demo Center is also host to Cirrus Aircraft: you’ll be able to see both their SR22 piston aircraft and Vision Jet aircraft. Be sure to stop by the Cirrus display, right beside us.
