You can get close to the action (help polish the Whelen Extra 330 performance plane, sit in on the team’s preparations, mingle on the hot-ramp with the other performers, etc.) or just kick back in VIP style for a day of fun at show center. The Plane Crazy team’s goal is to boost awareness of aviation within the Australia/Pacific region and spread the message to people that flying is fun and achievable. Mike reminisced about the Red Bull Air Race, explained how he recommends getting started in aviation and what our team is doing at AirVenture ’11.

Team Goulian’s AirVenture/Oshkosh 2011 Schedule

Join us at AirVenture (Oshkosh, WI) July 25 – 31 for any of our functions listed below. Have a chance to meet Michael at one of his many autograph sessions, watch him fly the air show on Monday, Thursday or Friday and watch him live on AOPALive on Saturday.

Whelen will be giving 30-minute seminars on the advancements of LED lighting technology and its application to aircraft. Monday – Friday from 1:00pm – 1:30pm at their outside exhibit (#394/395).

We’ll be based at the Whelen Seminar/Exhibit Center, booth #394/395 (across from Vintage Area Red Barn). You can’t miss it – look for the large WHELEN logo on the awning of the 53′ trailer. The Whelen Extra 330SC will be on display most of the week in front of this exhibit (except for Wednesday it will be at Lycoming’s big red tent).

Also – don’t miss out on a great drawing that Whelen will hold – you can win a new LED (Parmetheus) landing or taxi light for your aircraft! Sign up at the Whelen outside Seminar/Exhibit Center (#394/395) or inside Hangar A, booth # 1088/1089.
