Mike Goulian and Team 99 are in Chiba, Japan making final preparations to the #99 Edge 540 ahead of this weekend’s chapter of the 2017 Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Team spirits are high heading into the third stop of the global competition.
Each race presents its own set of challenges, which are addressed through a carefully sculpted strategy unique to each race location. Goulian’s prediction for Chiba is that the track will be fast; requiring a very fast time in the qualifying heats to stay competitive, and even faster results when it comes to Sunday’s showdown.
