Our 2017 air show season is officially underway with the completion of the Wings Over Golden Isles Air Show in Brunswick, GA. The stellar lineup of air show performers was matched by perfect weather all three days of the show, giving this community an experience they have not seen in twenty years when the last air show was held in the area in 1997. Mike Goulian performed alongside the United States Navy Blue Angels, as well as the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team; P-51 “Quicksilver” flown by Scott Yoak; Jim Tobul flying the F4U Corsair, Bill Braack driving the Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car; Jerry “Jive” Kirby; Bob Carlton, and Buck Roetman. Congratulations are owed to air show organizer John Cowman and JLC Airshow Management for successfully hosting such a spectacular event.
