The #99 Team was again struggling to find the pace in San Diego. After a massive effort to remove the wing cuffs and fabricate a lighter weight cowling, our plane was much more responsive in roll which was very nice on the tight San Diego track.

After the Abu Dhabi race, the #99 EDGE 540 made the long trip over to San Diego on a 747 freighter. Once off loaded, we assembled it and flew it back to the modification shop
