Monday night at AirVenture 2009 will not be forgotten by the Mike Goulian Aerosports team. Michael and family were honored to receive the Bill Barber Award for showmanship in front of all of their peers, friends and fans.

During the last week of July, Michael Goulian will be performing at Oshkosh’s AirVenture in his new Castrol Aviator Extra 330SC aircraft. He can also be found signing autographs at the following booths during the world’s largest aviation event: Lycoming, Champion Aerospace, Ford, and others.

The #99 Team was again struggling to find the pace in San Diego. After a massive effort to remove the wing cuffs and fabricate a lighter weight cowling, our plane was much more responsive in roll which was very nice on the tight San Diego track.

As you can see in the attached photos, the guys in the shop are doing an amazing amount of work in a very short time to get our EDGE 540 “on the pace” for San Diego. In addition to removal of the wing cuffs, the guys are going all out to make a lighter weight version of our cowling.
The MGAS Team introduced our brand new Castrol Aviator EXTRA 330SC at the recent Sun n’ Fun airshow in Lakeland, Florida. “We have received many compliments on our performances here which we are very happy about”, said Goulian.
