Emotional Finale for 2015 Las Vegas Red Bull Air Race

It was an emotional weekend here at the Red Bull Air Race in Las Vegas. The last race of the year had it’s ups and downs. We had a solid Qualifying run on Saturday, setting us up to fly against Hannes Arch on Sunday. On Sunday we flew well in the Round of 14 allowing us to advance to the Round of 8.

For Team Goulian – We leave nothing to chance at the Red Bull Air Race in Las Vegas

As is the norm, Team #99 arrived early for the @redbullairrace stop in Las Vegas. The team had to complete an engine change in Fort Worth the Friday night prior to Qualifying day just three weeks ago – so early this week, team technician, Dax Wanless, and Team Coordinator, Pablo Branco spent time setting up the engine for maximum horsepower while trying to keep the engine temps under control.

Goulian’s Team #99’s Teamwork Pays Off at Ft. Worth Red Bull Air Race

Looking back at this weekend’s Red Bull Air Race at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX, it can be described in a few words: teamwork, determination, collaboration and focus. With the return of the air race to the US, it was a great feeling to be competing back on US soil where everything is familiar and focusing on racing was easier than ever. After Friday’s practice run paving the way to issues with the Edge’s landing gear among other things, our team worked very hard to remedy the issues.

Goulian comes into the Red Bull Air Race at the Texas Motor Speedway this weekend (September 26 – 27) energized and motivated, after problems with his instrumentation thwarted his charge toward the Final 4 in Spielberg, Austria. Ascot Red Bull Air Race Recap for Team Goulian

The Red Bull Air Race in Ascot, England, had its ups and downs. With inclement weather during the entire week – the race teams had no practice time on the track. High speed turns have them pulling nearly 10Gs at times, collapsing their chests and forcing blood away from the brain and down to their toes.
