Porto Race

After a pretty tiring week in Porto, we leave somewhat disappointed with a 9th place finish. The #99 EDGE was once again “on the pace”, however, in the last qualifying session I had a pretty controversial penalty which I think made me a little apprehensive in our Top 12 run.

My goal was to fly “clean” and get into the Super 8’s and then “go for it” to get into the final four. In retrospect, I probably flew a little too conservatively which cost me some time and thus failing to advance into the Super 8.

There is a very fine line between too aggressive and not quite aggressive enough, today I was on the wrong side of that line.

As Barcelona is the last race of the year, we will be pushing hard.

Porto Qualifying

Well, today the fog lifted enough to complete one short training session and then the Qualification.
